Bought a PG9307 for 2 doors. Both went offline. Strange. One was resolved by removing the battery and reinstalling. Worked. The onther one will not come out of tamper mode. The case is not damaged.
When holding a magnet to it and pulling away, it blinks red quick then green. These were purchased Jan 2022
cant seem to find the actual tamper switch. It’s all the way in the board and the cover snaps on and the tabs are intact and not broken.
attaching picture of front and back of board to see if you can see if the tamper switch is missing or there is workaround
Think I found the issue. See red circled. This is where the tamper switch should be. There should be a metal cover and a plastic switch the thickness of a human hair. Looks like the cover came loose and the switch is attached to that. It looks like this would be too hard to repair. I would not mind bypassing the tamper feature all together. If thats possible, cancel the order I have with you right now for a replacement:
Yeah, if that tamper switch is broken, the sensor will continue to report a tamper. You can bypass when arming but you will have to do that all the time.
You can bypass when arming locally from the panel. The panel will have a dialog box pop up with a warning about it that you’ll have to agree to each time you arm.
The app has an option to bypass when arming as well, this will be done each time.
You cannot otherwise disable the tamper feature for that zone in programming.
