When I replaced my downstairs HVAC a couple months ago, I went with a multi-speed communicating model, which meant losing my ADC Thermostat. As such, I now have a T2000 sitting on my table with nothing to do. I’m wondering if there’s any way I could re-purpose it as a Temp Sensor. Any chance of that?
The T2000 can be run off of battery or off of a 24 VAC transformer and you could just use it as a temp sensor. It will show up as a thermostat with all the standard thermostat controls in Alarm.com, nothing can remove that, but those features can be ignored and just use it for temp reading.
