Malfunction with the rachio. Why does it state offline on the alarm.com app but on the rachio app it is online. I am having to use the rachio app instead of the alarm.com app. Thank you.

The malfunction would be associated with a status update not being shared correctly. You should be able to fix the issue by power cycling the Rachio Controller. Does this fix the issue at hand?
Would I have to do the power cycle every time? This is the second time it has done it. I just installed the rachio on Tuesday.
I have requested an updated status and it appears to have resolved the malfunction, can you confirm?
Have reached out to Alarm.com to determine if there are currently any issues with the Rachio sharing its status with the Alarm.com backend. Will post any updates here.
I’m having the same issue, Rachio shows up in Alarm.com app as Malfunction. This started occurring after an extended power outage. I’ve power cycled the device about 5 times and it’s still showing Malfunction. When I go into the Rachio app, it shows the device is online and I can turn on/off zones. Any suggestions other than power cycling the Rachio?
We’ve sent a status request and it looks like that resolved the current malfunction. Power cycling is the only local resolution. If you notice this again it may be beneficial to try logging out of the Rachio Account in ADC and re-adding it. Let us know if you see this again.

Currently removing the account sync is only available in Dealer tools. Would you like us to go ahead and do that for your system now so you can reinstall using the App?
