I have two questions – the first is there a secondary keypad to the qc3 panel? Also – if I decide to stop the monitoring all together – does this system have any functionality as a non-monitored alarm – ie could I get a siren to activate if a motion detector goes off?

The 2GIG GC3 does not, as of yet, have a proper secondary panel. While one is in the works, there is no release date nor are there any technical specs at this time.
Closest thing to a secondary panel is the 2GIG PAD1. This is just a keypad that will allow you to arm and disarm the panel, as well as product a panic for fire/police.

We offer both the Basic Interactive and Gold Interactive packages with, or without, Central Station Monitoring. You can choose a package without Central Station Monitoring to self monitor through notifications from Alarm.com.
If you are looking to self monitor without any subscription, the on board siren would still trigger when a sensor trips, should you set the sensor up that way. The amount of features available to you without Alarm.com is not nearly as robust however.
