Hey guys what tests should run after I install the new panel to make sure everything is communicating correctly with alarm.com and Monitoring center
Which panel?
I like to run a sensor test for each sensor to make sure it’s communicating properly with the panel. Then actually trigger an alarm and let the monitoring center call me to make the signaling pathway is working and that they have my correct contact info. Just make sure you know your password if you do that so they don’t dispatch the police.
You can also put your account in test mode, trigger an alarm, and then call the monitoring center and ask them if they received the signal.
