I’ve been trying to figure out a way to add a remote chime to an alarm.com Qolsys panel. The IQ2 remote panel is way overkill for my needs. I was hoping the mini remote keypad would have chime capability but that doesn’t appear so. Any suggestions for accomplishing this? I was thinking perhaps a z-wave product, but I don’t see anything out there like this.
There is no chime specific out of the box answer, pretty sure. It would be great to have that as an option, but they likely see limited use in such a device. The IQ2 is your best bet if you want duplication of chimes.
Unfortunately the buzzer output on the IQ panel cannot be programmed for chime-only function.
