I’m thinking of upgrading my Qolsys IQ Panel to an IQ Panel 2.
If I buy from somewhere else, but it’s an unlocked Verizon model will you be able to activate it and what’s the process?
The second question is does the IQ Panel 2 have the Image radio already in it? I ask because I found a video of how to install the image radio.

As long as it is not pre-registered, of course. You can use compatible equipment with suretyDIY purchased from any vendor if you wish.

No, those do not currently ship with the daughterboard installed from Qolsys. We do not have those separately at the moment, but I believe the plan is to add those as an optional included part.
I have to say, that for the price, how disappointed I am that that is Not included.
I’m just speculating, but it was likely done this way as an option to keep the panel price a little lower since that part only functions with a single sensor type that is not used in all installations.
I purchased my IQ Panel 2 elsewhere (won’t do that again). I also have a Z-8100-840 image motion sensor I was planning on using with my setup. I assume I also need the daughter card for this to work? Can you confirm that it part no QC0003 that I need? I found this installation guide https://qolsys.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/IQ-Card-IS-Quick-Guide.pdf that appears to be for the IQ Panel 2

Yes the daughter card would be needed unless pre-installed by the vendor. The panels do not ship with it included. The part number is QC0003-840.
