Sorry I should have mentioned this before, program the IQ Remote after the restoral. Anything programmed into the panel will cause issues with the restoral.
No problem - can you restore now and I’ll re-pair with the remote after the restoral?
I just sent the restoral. Let me know if you have any issues.
Thanks! I think the front door and back door sensors did not get restored - I do seem to see the rest - is it possible to restore those too?
I do see the panel glassbreak on the system now and it was not on the back up. That is probably what caused an issue with zone 2 Basement Door and 3 Right Front Window. I can try sending another restoral but they most likely will need to be programmed manually.
Ok - is it best for me to reset and restore again? or just proceed from here? Unfortunately my panel still doesn’t seem to respond to ping.
I was contacting Qolsys and they said the last step here is to perform a hard reboot by pressing the button on the side of the panel until the blue light starts flashing blue. They also said the panel is no longer in warranty as it was manufactured at the end of 2021.
It does look like a panel issue but a router power cycle would be something we could also try.
We can try another reset and restore if you’d like since your Wi-Fi connection is still not working correctly.
Thanks - I took that step and seems to be in the same state. Is it possible this is some sort of panel hardware issue?
It does look like it is a hardware issue as it is failing to connect with your home router and your phones hotspot. If a factory default did not clear the issue, then it does look like it is a hardware issue.
This is why I tried contacting Qolsys on it but they mentioned it was out of warranty and could not be replaced.
Thank you! Guess it’s time to upgrade to the iq5
