Qolsys IQ Panel 4 No Cell Service

Good Morning;
I have a Panel 4 system bought 2 1/2 years ago. My friends are ready to install it. After a the sensors and such were configured, we realize that the Panel has no Cell Service. I have Cell service on my phone. What could be the problem and what do I have to look for?

Does the IQ panel 4 currently have a cellular plan with it?

If it does, you may want to try and power cycling it. Does it use Verizon or Sprint? What Software version is it running? You can find these if you swipe down from the main page > Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer code > About > under software and under cellular.

It has the most current software Patch, there are no more upgrades to be had. We have tried power cycling several times, It has Verzion. On message we have is that the Cell Radio is off. Yesterday my friend did setup a Monitoring account with Surety, hoping the would turn on the Cell Radio, However it did not. I have the IMEI number if needed.

If that still doesn’t fix the issue, then next thing I would recommend is a factory default of the panel.

I have the Panel, however, I don’t see in the menu choices (Settings> Installation) in Upgrade Software a choice for factory reset. Can You help point me to/ how to Factory Reset, Please?

If the above option failed, you can master reset by swiping down from the main screen > Settings > Advanced Settings > Dealer Code > Installation > Dealer Settings > Scroll all the way to the bottom and select Master Reset

It would be best if the account associated to the panel would post so we could look into the account settings and panel settings if connected to Wi-Fi.
