Fixes/Improvements:
- Portuguese translations have been further improved.
- Power Management defaults were updated to enhance cellular performance during power outages.
- The arming process and trouble acknowledgment from the IQ Keypad are now smoother with the “EN Grade
2” setting enabled. - Disarming the system from an IQ Keypad while in Armed Stay mode has a more streamlined user flow.
- Resolved an issue where panels might not detect the AC power adapter after short power interruptions.
- Fixed a rare issue where the IQR-PG LED did not operate correctly.
- Enhanced overall IQR-PG performance.
- Improved the performance of Z-Wave SmartStart.
- Fixed a problem that could cause delayed UI responses due to the panel camera’s motion detection feature.
- Optimized the IQ Installer connection process with the IQ4 Family.
- Corrected silent arming so it no longer produces a single unexpected beep.
- Increased KP-241 integration performance.
- Cybersecurity improvements.
Update Instructions:
Compatibility Note: Your IQ Panel must be on software version 4.4.0 or higher and connected to WiFi to install this updated wirelessly. For any Panels below 4.4.0 – please review the software update instructions located at
SOFTWARE DOWNLOADS - Qolsys
1- Swipe down from the top of the screen and touch “Settings"
2- Touch “Advanced Settings”
3- Enter a valid installer code (default is 1111)
4- Touch “Upgrade Software”
5 -Touch “Patch Tag” and enter the patch iqpanel4.6.2 then touch OK
6- Touch “Upgrade Using Network” (Panel must be connected to Wi-Fi). Update will download and install
7- Once complete touch “OK” to reboot the Panel. DO NOT TOUCH THE SCREEN. The update process will take
approximately 5 minutes. After the Panel reboots the home screen will appear and the LED will turn green.
