Qolsys IQ Panel 2 and Extenders/Repeaters

I am using IQ Mini Door/Window Sensors with the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 and regularly receiving notifications that a couple/few of the windows are offline, then back online. I’ve moved the sensors around, and it seems to be the location of 2 windows (regularly), and a 3rd window occasionally.

I want to try an extender/repeater. Is there one available, and if so, what is the make/model, and maybe a link to the item? --J

A repeater can help, but note that those sensors would need to be programmed as a RF 319 source, not an encrypted S-Line source, in the sensor configuration pages.

If the devices have been in use for a while, replacing the batteries would be the first suggestion, as borderline low battery levels commonly result in supervision errors for devices in locations with borderline signaling.

Another option would be using PowerG sensors instead if range is the chief issue.

One final issue specific to the IQ Panel 2 is that for the non-PowerG RF sensors, the panel uses a thin flexible white antenna that must be routed out the back of the panel housing and into the wall if wall mounted in order to have best signaling. If it is left inside the panel signal range can be impacted.
