My panel is getting 1 bar at best. I noticed the wire is just a low gauge wire. Can I solder some more cable on to it and run it up into my attic? If not is there an extender or antenna upgrade?
I don’t know of a replacement antenna product yet for the Qolsys IQ Panel 2. I would recommend against soldering onto the existing antenna. Have you tried relocating the panel within the location? Construction, appliances, metal roofing, etc., can all have an effect on signaling and it is best to choose a location based on signaling capability first and foremost.
Any luck on adding wire to boost signal?
