Qolsis Panel 4 wants to add a mystery sensor

Hi, new to this but liking it a lot so far. Prior homeowner had a bunch of Honeywell 345MHz sensors bound to their ADT panel. I know those are basically useless (I haven’t engaged with ADT to try to get them to release them). However, my Qolsys Panel 4 (edit: also 345 MHz) was happy to identify and add a handful of existing Honeywell 5820 slimline window sensors in Auto-Add (once I figured out those were what the panel was seeing). So that was great. I thought I found all existing devices, but now the panel keeps wanting to add a sensor with the prefix “011”. I don’t have any with that prefix, so does anyone know what type of sensor that is, so I can know generally what I’m looking for in the house? Thanks!

Do you have any motion detectors that you or someone else could be triggering while the system is in Auto Learn?

Can you post a pic of what you’re seeing?

I couldn’t get it to replicate today with the 011 prefix, but it’s the same screen as it gets if I intentionally trigger a sensor when the panel is in auto-learn, but when it happened, I’m not doing anything with other sensors, and no one else was in the house, and I had happened to leave the panel in auto-learn. The picture is when a window sensor was being added, as the 086 prefix appears to relate to the 2GIG DW10 slim door/window contacts. There are a few non-Lyric smoke detectors that I’m thinking it might be.

If any of your neighbors have compatible sensors your panel may be picking up activity from one of them. It just means that there is a 345Mhz sensor somewhere within range that is activating while the panel was left in auto-learn mode. It is unlikely to be a device which was not tampered or activated, like a smoke detector.

With PowerG sensors you could tell the type of sensor based on the TXID prefix, but 345Mhz sensors do not have unique prefixes for sensor types.

Thank you for the help, and good to know 345 sensors aren’t tied to a prefix. I added the PowerGs first, so didnt’t appreciate that wasn’t always the case. If I figure out what these other sensors

are, I’ll post here.
