Hey guys so I was wanting to know if I would install a IQ panel 4 345 and use 2gig smokes can I program the panel to only detector smoke and ignore heat ?
Yes, 2GIG 345Mhz smoke detectors split the Smoke and Heat detection reports on different loops, and you enter the loop in programming for the zones. If you do not want to use the Heat detector portion, you can just use Loop 1 for smoke, and do not program in the Heat loop.
