I just placed my order to switch over to Surety. I am swapping out the old version IQ Panel, and the old version IQ2 remote secondary panel with the IQ Panel 2 Plus and new version of the IQ Remote Panel. Both of the old units are wall mounted… and the question I have is do the old versions, and the new versions have the same power requirements? I’d like to use the old transformers so I’m not fishing wire or splicing into the existing.
They don’t. IQ Pane 1 was 12V but IQ Panel 2+ is 7V. You should use the transformer that comes with the panel. But it has screw down terminals on it so you shouldn’t have to splice.
