Power Outage: Action Plan

Having a power outage. Many houses are affected and an electric company is promising power back in 2 hours.

I have 2GIG GC3 that has switched to its internal battery and alerted me about it.

What are the recommended actions? How long will GC3 be “alive” on the battery (it is fairly new)? Should a central station be notified?

Panel backup battery should have an expected 24 hour battery life, depending on usage I’ve seen newer ones run longer than that at times.

Power loss events are already forwarded to CS.
