Is it possible to arm the system with a door open without having to bypass an open sensor?
Here’s the scenario: kids/spouse heading out the door carrying things; me inside at the panel arming the system before heading out the door and closing it.
My old alarm would protest as long as the door was open, but then go ahead and initiate the arming sequence once the last sensor was closed. It’s a hassle to go over and shut the door, then go back to the panel to arm and then exit.
Can the 2gig panel be made to go ahead and arm without having all of the sensors closed?

The 2GIG panel will only prompt bypass for open zones. Arming remotely will also bypass these zones. In a scenario like the above, it may be best to leave and arm using your Alarm.com smartphone app once all zones are shut.
