I was wondering if it would be possible to add a Samsung SmartThings as a secondary controller. I have some automation scripts I would like to run on some lights, but would still like the 2Gig control panel able to access them as well. Is it possible to add the SmartThings hub as a secondary controller or pair a light switch to two different controllers?

No, it would be other way around.
2GIG can only be a secondary controller in a two controller network. This thread goes into in depth instructions on doing so with a Vera, same principle applies (same steps needed, substitute Smart Things navigation to learn functions etc.)
All Z-wave devices should be learned into the intended primary controller, then add 2GIG as a secondary controller and the compatible device info will be passed to it as well.
