for a POE connected camera, if wifi signal is lost between router and panel, will triggered clips continue to upload to cloud?
Asked another way: for POE cameras, do triggered clips upload to the cloud directly through my wired network, or are they routed through the alarm panel first?
All Alarm.com cameras, including PoE cameras, are connected directly to Alarm.com through your internet connection. They do not send clip uploads through the alarm panel. If Wi-Fi to the panel is lost, but PoE cameras still have an internet connection, they will continue to upload clips to the cloud.
