I am attempting to install a PG9914 motion sensor on an IQ Panel 4. I added it manually as auto-learning it gave the wrong ID (I successfully installed another already). I entered the ID and programmed it. Then it showed as “Not Networked” before disappearing from the sensor list with an error that it’s an “Unsupported manufacturing ID”.

This is indicative of models of PowerG sensors made for specific regions or vendors. DSC produces some proprietary versions of the sensor models for specific dealers. I can’t say whether those models have any unique reporting or if it is just arbitrarily locking the sensor to the dealer.
The sensor will have some additional numbers near the model number on the label.
915-3 is found on compatible models.
Examples we know are incompatible and exist are 915-5 and 915-6
If it is a proprietary version it would not be able to work unless the panel is linked to that particular dealer. I’m not a fan of this.
That’s what I was afraid was the issue after a bit of research. Well damn.
