PG9309 two aux inputs for two separate doors

Hello,

I am looking at adding a PowerG contact with aux for my garage door. I have an IQ4. I am using the IQ Tilt S right now and I periodically get trouble signal from the garage door further away from the panel. I am guessing this is due to signal attenuation from all the metal in the garage.

Question: I have 2 garage doors. The PG9309 has 2 aux inputs. If I connect one garage door to each input, will it report as two separate doors in the panel or a single door? I would like the notifications to indicate which specific garage door is open. It is not a big deal but will make it easier to have one sensor between the doors as opposed to two separate 9309 (or 9945) sensors.

According to Qolsys the second input is not supported at this time on the IQ Panel 4, One input and OR the reed switch can be used.

Thanks Jason. Is there any advantage to the PG9309 vs the PG9945 for an IQ Panel 4 then?

My apologies, I realized the prior response is wrong. It is this way on the PG9945 as well:

When programming the zone, you need to select whether it is the reed switch or the wired input which is being monitored. Both cannot be selected on the same zone.

Functionally they would be the same for your purpose. You would need one per garage door.
