Panel Motion Alerts from Cameras

Hi All,

I saw the IQ4 can now announce camera analytic events. How do I enable this as I have V827 cameras that do not do perimeter alert so I would like to hear this announcement in the house. Thanks!

This can be selected within the Alarm.com video recording rules for the IQ Panel 4 or IQ4 Hub on 4.6.1+

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com website.
  2. Click Video.
  3. Click Recording Rules.
  4. Edit an existing rule or Add New Rule to create a new rule.
  5. In Panel Notifications, click to enable Panel as Recipient.
  6. Select either Text-Only or Thumbnail Notification.
  7. Configure the rule as desired.
  8. Click Save.

OR

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com mobile app.
  2. Tap Video.
  3. Tap the configuration gear icon.
  4. Tap Recording Rules.
  5. Edit an existing rule or Add New Rule to create a new rule.
  6. In Panel Notifications, tap to enable Panel as Recipient.
  7. Select either Text-Only or Thumbnail Notification.
  8. Configure the rule as desired.
  9. Tap Save.
