Hello, support! My panel (Qolsys IQ Panel 2 firmware 2.7.1-ADCS 9.7.2) is experiencing a “ghosting” effect where everything on the screen is leaving a horizontal trail. I believe it’s still functioning as expected, but the ghosting came out of nowhere. I’ve seen other customers here with the same issue, but I’m not sure if a common solution was ever found. I tried updating the firmware, restarting, and unplugging the panel, but no luck. Any suggestions as far as next steps?
Hello, please power cycle the panel again.
- Full Power Cycle:
- Settings > Advanced Settings > Power Down
- Unplug power supply from outlet
- Open panel and disconnect the internal battery
- Leave off for 20 minutes, then reboot battery first, then power supply
If the problem persists after power cycling the panel, can you submit an image of the issue with the panel screen?
