Is there a way to create an automation when my system is disarmed, to make my panel chime when a person is detected on my outdoor camera?
I’m having an issue where delivery drivers are sometimes just quietly leaving packages on my stoop without ever knocking/ringing. I’ve had some stolen, while I’m home.
There is currently no way to get a panel notification from an outdoor camera. You are only able to get panel notifications from doorbells at this time.
We did submit a product feature request for the option in the future but there is no guarantee.
You are able to set the camera to send you notifications, emails, or texts when it does detect a person. You can set this up under the rules already created and adding a phone number or email under notifications,

That would be awesome to get that added as a feature. I have to imagine it would be useful for many people. As I imagine the scenario of being home, having your system disarmed, and having a delivery person just drop a package at your door without ringing, is fairly common. I currently don’t have an easy way to add a doorbell camera.
For now I will set up a notification to my phone.
We do offer a battery powered motion detector if you are interested.
