Panel belongs to another account

Hello i just signed up for aurety today and while trying to activate my panel it says it already beling to someone else what should i do.

An Alarm.com compatible communicator can only be assigned to one account at a time. If a panel is assigned to another Alarm.com account, the owner of that account must contact their dealer to get the account cancelled and deleted from Alarm.com.

Once the old account is cancelled, the panel would be free to register on a new account.

Thanks for your response, since I don’t know the owner or have anyway worth so ever of contacting the previous owner , can I buy my own pernel then if yes how do I go about it?

Yes you would be able to reuse existing sensors with another compatible panel.

To best assist and recommend the right panel, what model of panel is in the home? What models of sensors are installed?
