Outlet for IQ Panel 4

Oh boy! If I can’t figure this out, my wife is gonna strangle me.

I had an outlet put where I planned to mount the IQ Panel 4 (right next to the front door), but I hadn’t yet received the panel (so I didn’t know the plug was so big), before I had the electrician add the outlet. The outlet is small (see attached picture). Of course there is no way that the panel’s plug will fit in the outlet box. I originally was going to have the electrician install this larger media plate (https://a.co/d/076dBlEd), but that one was too large and I wouldn’t have been able to mount the panel (since the electrical plate was larger than the IQ Panel).

I understand I need to use the power supply that came with the panel. What are my options?

I haven’t found a plug that could fit the transformer behind the panel. The best way to do this would be to install the plug at a different location. You can install the plug on the other side of the wall or under the light switch at a standard height of 12-16 inches. Then, you can run the included panel wire from the panel location to the transformer inside the wall.

Vidail, thanks for your reply. For now, I will just the panel on a table-top and deal with the wiring later.
