Outdoor PG9994 bypass

My PG9994 is in a constant state of fault and making all pabels in the house constantly beep. I am not sure what is causing it or how to get to the bottom of the issue. The batteries were replaced a few days ago and confirmed good with a meter. Can you see on your end what is giving me issues? Thanks in advance.

To confirm, are you referring to the device labeled Outdoor Rear Motion Cam?

I see it being bypassed but I do not see any active trouble conditions for it. I do see recent tampers however that is likely when the battery was replaced given your description.

Can you describe the trouble condition you are seeing on the panel? If you tap the icon in the upper right corner and go to Alerts/Alarms what do you see related to that sensor?

Yes sir, that is the sensor. This is the only alert for that sensor. Very confusing.

One other potential cause is the Master Closet Motion sensor.

That sensor has actually had the tamper trouble condition suppressed in Alarm.com, it was previously reporting multiple tampers per minute repeatedly.

How frequently are you getting trouble beeps?

It has miraculously stopped the trouble beeps while at work today. Still getting a bypass fault on that sensor I’d like to figure out how to clear.

Seems the closet sensor tamper was due to the case being tweaked and not fully depressing the tiny internal tamper switch. Should be fixed now. Wasn’t aware it was an issue, besides when I moved it, I’ve not had any trouble beeps or alerts from that sensor.

Could you send us a picture of the Outdoor PIR and how it is mounted?

Double check that it is not loosely on the wall and I would recommend removing the cover and checking the inside. Double check all the tamper points and make sure nothing is loose.

Here is a grab from a poe cam. I’ll double check the tampers when I get home. I’m not seeing tamper faults on the panel.

We’ll need a closer picture of the device when you get a chance. Check for any loose screws or mounting hardware as well as a loose cover.

Let us know if you find anything.

Thank you

Took it down amd inspected the various tamper devices and switch, all seem yo be in order. Here is a good photo of it’s mounting.

I hope this does solve the random tampering issue you are experiencing.

Let us know if you have any additional questions or issues

Thank you

Nothing has been solved, still the same mystery fault causing a constant bypass condition. I’m about to just throw it in the garbage.

If it is still being bypassed, I would recommend you delete the PG9994 and learn it back in.

Do delete, you can swipe down from the main screen > Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer Code > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Delete Sensor > Select this motion and confirm the deletion

Press and hold the learn button until it flashes red 3 times on the PG9994

You can then back out to the sensor menu and press Auto Learn Sensor

Press and hold the learn/enroll button until the LED lights up orange and release immediately.

Finish programming on the panel and exit programming. Test arming
