I just received my 2 new ADC-T2000 and GoBridge. I didn’t check but looks like I need a firmware update to install these.
Does Surety offer OTA firmware updates? Just didn’t want to have to wait on the cable to upgrade right now. This is my fault for not looking at the requirements.
Since 2GIG has the GC3 out, do you think they will be updating the firmware past 1.13? Didn’t know if I needed the cable if they weren’t.
OTA firmware updates are available, yes. However, there is a data charge for these updates, they take a long time, and can cause problems if you do not maintain a solid connection and power to the panel throughout.
We generally recommend updating using the firmware update cable. It is a more controlled method.
If you do want to perform an OTA update, please email customerservice@suretyDIY.com and request one. However, I would not often recommend it.

The GC3 is not a replacement for the GC2. It is being released by 2GIG as a “higher end” version of the GC2 and support for the GC2, including firmware and new device compatibility, will continue.
So apparently, my T2000 thermostat firmware is updated! I purchased the thermostat a long time ago, around the time is was released, and I just checked the firmware, and it is at 1.5!
We’ve not heard any update about an OTA for Tstats. It has been discussed at ADC, so it is possible I suppose, but keep in mind 1.5 has been around for a long time, and may have been the firmware on your unit when purchased. The T2000 went very quickly from 1.2 to 1.3 to 1.5.
Do you know for sure that you had a different version previously?
