New user here. Just got up and running. I want to add some sensors that trigger a notification to me, but won’t dispatch first responders, and preferably not even notify monitoring center. For example an outdoor sensor on my package box. Which group would I assign that to? And if I de-select the “monitored” checkbox will that result in me being notified, but not the monitoring center for that sensor? Thanks in advance.
You can use sensor 25-Local Safety Sensor. This sensor can be set up for notifications to alarm.com and on the panel. This will not trigger an alarm and will not send an alarm signal to the monitoring station.
To change this, swipe down from the main screen > Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer/Dealer Code > Installation > Devices > Security sensors > Edit Sensors > Select the pencil next to the zone in questions > Sensor group select 25
