Not Receiving Garage Door Notifications - MyQ - IQ Panel 4

This week I installed a new IQ Panel 4 and a new myQ MYQ-G0402 garage door controller. Everything seems to be working fine (garage door opens and closes by using the IQ Panel or the iOS ADC app and correctly reports the door status) and I can see “Garage Door open” and “Garage Door close” activity in the ADC activity log.

However, I can’t figure out why I’m not receiving iOS push notifications for the door open and close events. It looks like I have all of the necessary activity and action notifications enabled in the ADC settings, and the iPhone is correctly receiving push notifications for other ADC events.

Is there something else I need to configure in order to receive the Garage open / close iOS push notifications?

When looking at your account I do not see any garage related activity notifications in your notifications list at this time.

Login to Alarm.com and visit the Notifications page. Click new notification and select Garage Open/Close as the notification type. Save the notification with your push device selected as the recipient.

Wait about 5-10 minutes, then test. Does the notification work for you?

Thanks for the info, I mistakenly assumed the Garage Door notifications would be triggered by checking the “Garage Door” box under the “Unexpected Activity” notification. I didn’t realize there was a dedicated garage door notification which could be added. Thanks again, the notifications are coming through now.
