I’ve just replaced my ADT system with a Qolsys IQ4 panel and 2 remote keypads. The panel refers to them as
IQ Remote Panel 1
IQ Remote Panel 2
IQ Remote Panel 3
I can identify Panels 1 and 2 as the remote keypads. Is panel 3 the IQ4 itself? Is there some way other than the way I did it (unplugging each keypad and seeing which notifications I got) to identify which device is which, other than taking them off the wall and opening them up to find the id?
No, the IQ Panel 4 won’t show up as an additional remote keypad.
Do your other two keypads remain functional if you remove the third one that was added?
When paired via Wi-Fi, you can check to see which IQ Remote is which in the main panel programming by navigating to Settings > Advanced Settings > Installation > Devices > Wi-Fi Devices > IQ Remote Devices and checking the IP addresses. On the IQ Remote itself, you can see its IP address under Settings > About > Wi-Fi Information
When paired via PowerG, you can find the sensor ID in the main panel under Settings > Advanced Settings > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Sensor Status. On the IQ Remote, the sensor ID can be found under Settings > About > PowerG.
