New smart thermostat

I installed a new Alarm.com smart thermostat and was able to link it to my main alarm base but cannot add it to my surety APP. Does it cost extra to control a smart thermostat through the app? Any help is greatly appreciated

Automation devices support for things like locks, lights, and thermostats is included in the Home and Complete plans through Surety.

The Alarm and Protect plans do not support Alarm.com automation device control.
