New Panel compatibility and which radio?

I am considering changing to Surety and in doing so, I am planning on upgrading my IQ2 to the IQ4 panel. I have some questions. I have cameras and automation. My existing panel has a ATT cell communication and ATT recently left our area and Verizon step in and added new towers. Therefore, my panel is only working on wifi. When I upgrade to a new Verizon panel, will the green chips that say ATT in all my Zwave Yale locks need to be changed also or will they work with the new panel ? Also, I have some older accessories, sensors, Motion detectors, smoke…. I assume I will need the IQ4 319.5 Radio over the 345 Radio? Thanks for your help with my two questions.

Hello,

The Radio version depends on the types of sensors you currently have installed. What is the model of your current panel? This can tell us which frequency it has, as 319.5Mhz is for Interlogix/GE sensors and 345Mhz is for 2GIG/Honeywell sensors. The model number can be found on the back of the panel. You could also send us pictures of your sensors so we can try to figure out which one you would need.

Z-Wave devices use their own frequency to communicate directly with the panel and should not need a chip replaced. What is the model of your current Z-Wave door lock?

Is your current panel registered to another dealer currently? You can check this by using out Module Tool Check

Model of current panel is QS-Zwave

Lock model is Yale Yrd220-ZW. I had to purchase the card that goes into this lock separately. Its what says ATT on it.

When entering my IMEI number in your Module Tool Check, is displays “Excellent! Your AT&T 4G LTE Alarm.com module can be activated!”

All IQ Panel 2s have a Z-wave radio, but the sensor picture helps identify what you have. That QS1135 is a Qolsys S-Line sensor, which is a 319.5Mhz sensor.

You would want the 319.5Mhz radio version of the IQ Panel 4 if you plan to swap out the panel.

Alternatively you could get started wityh the existing panel if it is currently unregistered. That module check result indicates you could activate that panel at any time.
