The new codes are not working.
Did you change the codes through Alarm.com? I’m showing that your Alarm.com login has never been logged into.
I’ve resent the welcome letter via email, which will allow you to log in and disarm the system. Once logged in, please try changing the code again.
I clinked on the link and went through the prompts and got it unalarmed. But then switched back to the email… then I went back to the app it doesn’t show that alarm code it first give me, it shows all the stuff I had already done and none of that works now. Not sure how to go back to the other code it gave me when I clicked on your link.
That might be caused by the panel not completing the sync with Alarm.com.
I’ve sent commands to sync the user codes, panel settings, and sensor list. This looks to have completed successfully now.
Can you try changing the master code in Alarm again?
To view or change a user code on the panel:
- Log in to Alarm.com on the web or mobile app.
- Click on the Users section. On the Alarm.com app, this is under More, then Users.
- Tap on the user that you want to change or view the code for. The current code is displayed in the grey box on the screen.
- To change the code, click on it, then enter or generate a new code.
- Click Save and allow 5-10 minutes for the code to sync.
I feel like I might have two logins for Alarm.com is there any way for you to see if that’s true or not? It’s not updating on the original login that o have. When you sent that welcome email it looked like a different account and I can’t seem to get back into that one.
I’m not showing that there is another account, but we won’t be able to see it if it is under another provider.
