Hey all. I’m new to the forum. I have an existing ADT system that the subscription has run out on. I like the system, everything is wireless and I’d like to continue using it. I’m wondering what my options are for self monitoring. I can access all the equipment easily and I’m confident that I can do any work that needs to be done. I see there are lots of items for sale in the store but I have no idea what I need or don’t. I’d like to have some kind of smartphone access/ alert.
My current system consists of the touchpad (ADT Safewatch Pro Custom), a unit that’s plugged directly into my router (ADT Pulse Gateway Model PGZNG1), the cellular unit (DSC 3G307ORF-ADTUSA) as well as the control panel (Safewatch Pro 3000EN). There are 3 door sensors, 1 motion detector, and 5/6 window sensors.
The existing communication devices, the cell module and the Pulse gateway, could not be used through suretyDIY and Alarm.com.
suretyDIY is an Alarm.com services dealer. The thread linked above gives tips on how to reuse existing sensors with a new panel.
Another option may be the SEM, as the panel you mention is based on the Vista 20P I believe. We would need to verify compatibility.
Check the compatibility information attached.

Warren, thank you sir for pointing me in the right direction. I’m currently at work but I’ll pour over ALL those links later today when I have time to digest it correctly. A quick glance over the pages has me feeling optimistic at my options with suretyDIY/ Alarm.com as other places I’ve called have had much more pricey packages and didn’t seem to really care about what I was looking for the system to do.
If I have any questions I’ll certainly be in touch. Thanka again!
