Can you request alarm.com to support the latest Google home feature?
Feature request: Google home support for more direct “sentence”.
When can alarm.com add support for the latest google home feature? It now allows you to not have to ask “OK google ask Alarm.com to XXX”
This would be similar to Alexa “Home Skills” allowing direct control of the devices without referencing Alarm.com, correct?
It is new for Google, and I am pretty sure it will already be on the development pipeline for Google Home, but we are happy to forward any requests! We could not provide an ETA for such an update though. We can update this thread when available down the road.

Yes, that ability I believe is just controlled via Google, but per docs is available.
Note that asking the status of a light is not supported, but you can turn on, turn off, bright, dim, and set a specific dimmer value with voice commands.
