We moved from a house where we used Alexa with ADC (locally monitored) without any problems. I am using a new ADC account at our new home. When I try to link the new ADC account with the alarm.com skill (have tried both skills) from my phone, the login is successful but the next step says “Unable to link the skill at this time.”
I have tried to link over several days, disabling and enabling the skill, deleting the alexa app, etc but nothing has worked. I also installed Alexa on a phone that has never had Alexa before but this device also failed to link.
I finally tried to link on my wife’s Alexa app on her phone (her Amazon account, not mine) and it worked the first try. Alexaa interacts with the security system normally.
All devices in our home are linked to my Amazon account so none them are able to access ADC.
It seems my Amazon account has some problem. Maybe it is retaining data from my old ADC account. How can I clear my Amazon account?
