Multiple Z wave Devices fell off

A bunch of my Z wave devices have fallen off and are not “related”. From Door Locks, to Water Valves, to plugs.

Is there a system issue as rediscovering is not resolving it. I am being notified constantly on ADC app as more are falling off bit by bit

A lot of these are near the garage and the only think different is that I installed the Garage Door Z Wave opener recently

The panel is not responding to any link quality tests on our end. Do you have any Z-wave devices powered off in that area?

First try a reboot of the panel (Settings > Advanced Settings > Reboot Panel) Do the currently malfunctioning devices communicate after the panel boots up?

If that doesn’t have an effect, try powering off that Z-wave garage opener, then reboot the panel again.

Rebooting seemed to fix it.

If this happened when I was away, I believe I can remotely reboot the panel from the Surety Portal?

Reboot commands can be sent from System Manager under the My Alarm System tab.

Any theories as to what cause this?

They don’t clear off the ADC app unless I manually turn them on and off. Any better way to do this to get them to clear?

Activating them sends a status to ADC which will resolve the offline malfunction. If any of the devices still show malfunction or do not update their status after activating them locally, that may point to that device as a culprit.

You can also use the system manager to send a sync z-wave device list command, which also updates status.

I’ve sent a link quality test to the panel and everything reports good signal currently. Let us know if you notice this behavior again, and if so, is it in the same area.
