multi camera power supply for ADC-V521IR

I’m going to be installing three or four ADC-V521IR cameras in my house soon. I’d like to keep the wiring as unobtrusive as possible (no wall warts and dangling cables). I think that what I want to do is to get a multi camera power supply, put it in a closet, and run the low voltage wire through my attic to each camera (terminated in a soldered-on 2.1/5.5mm barrel connector at each camera). Is there a specific multi camera power supply that you recommend? The camera needs 12V DC at 1amp, and it seems like individual fuses are a good idea. Having extra capacity to add more cameras later strikes me as worthwhile. Beyond that I really don’t know what separates a good multi camera power supply from a bad one. I think I’m looking for something like this:

or perhaps this:

Does this sound about right? What would you suggest for this application? Is there something important I’ve forgotten to ask about?

In general we recommend utilizing the included plug in power supply for each camera. That said, yes for that model of camera either of the linked solutions should work if the quality is good and power output requirements are met. One thing to keep in mind doing it this way: you don’t want any of the power runs to be too much longer than others, allowing voltage drop. Find a good central location for the power supply.
