Moving from Safe Haven/ADT

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a house that came with a QolSys IQ 4 panel, video doorbell, smart lock, and connected garage door opener. I’d like to move over to Surety sooner rather than later because I hate not having full control over my panel. Going through the registration for a Surety plan it looks like my IMEI isn’t recognized. What all do I need to do to get away from my current provider and get set up with Surety?

IF the panel is connected to service thorugh another provider, the module would be registered. The module needs to be unregistered, which is typically done when cancelling serivce.

About our service, we are a do it yourself, Alarm.com service provider. All service and support is handled online through our website, we are unable to provide phone support, local installation, or maintenance. You can find more about how Surety works here.

Service through Surety requires an Alarm.com compatible panel as well as an unregistered, 4G LTE cellular module. If you already have equipment, you can check the status of your cellular module via our Module Check Tool to determine if your system is eligible for service. After purhcase, the website will walk you through the account creation process. Provided you have an unregistered, 4G LTE module, it takes about 5 minutes from service plan purhcase to account setup and connection.

Got it, the only thing that’s worrying me a bit is when I try to check the serial number (IMEI) I’m getting this message. It’s a IQ panel 4.
