Moving from GC3 to IQ Panel 4

I have a number of 2GIG‐SMKT3‐345 and 2GIG-PIR1 sensors that were used by a 2GIG-GC3 panel. I removed them all from my old panel then installed my new IQ Panel 4. I tried going through the auto-learn process to add them, but none of them appear after any amount of time.

I followed this video to pair: Qolsys IQ Smoke - IQ Panel 2 Programming - YouTube

Any help is appreciated.

Did u order the IQ 4 345

Looks like I did not.

Customer service should be able to help y with getting that changed tommorow

The IQ Panel 4 on the storefront is the IQP4001. This panel is has the following radios:

  • 319.5MHz (Qolsys/GE)
  • PowerG
  • Z-Wave Plus
  • 4G LTE on Verizon

If you use 2GIG 345MHz sensors (legacy, not eSeries encrypted) you would need the IQP4003 found via this link here. It works with:

  • 345MHz legacy (2GIG, Honeywell)
  • PowerG
  • Z-Wave Plus

I see that you have started the return process with customer service via email. Please follow up with them if you have any addiitonal questions regarding the return process.

May I perhaps suggest that there be a message informing users of the difference on the product detail page? I did not know there were differences and had just purchased the IQ panel from the products page.

Yes, they’re taking good care of me. Thank you

Just to clarify, the 345MHz version does come with the 4G LTE on Verizon?

I am happy to pass that along, thank you for the feedback.

Details can be found on the product page for which radio s are installed, found under IQ Panel Specs & Guides.

You can also use the product filters found on the main storefront page to help find equipment sold through Surety that is compatible with existing equipment

Yes, all IQ Panel 4 panles have a built in PowerG, RF Legacy, Z-Wave, and 4G LTE module. The IQP4003 has a built in Verizon 4G LTE module.

Just some additional feedback… From a buyer experience, I navigated to Products and clicked on the first result (IQ Panel 4). I didn’t even think to scroll down because I didn’t know other options of the model existed. There’s also no mention of 2GIG on the page.
