We will be moving in about a month or so. We currently have an ADC system tied to our Surety account. Upon moving out, we will have tenants moving into the house. I have a couple of questions.
How can I clear my Surety/ADC account from the house panel (Qolsys IQ Panel 2) without clearing out the sensors? The goal is to keep the system in place that way if the tenant wants, they can use it with whatever security company monitoring they want to go with.
It may be another month or so before we move into our new house. So, how can I keep my Surety account active so when I move into new house, I can just buy the new equipment and set it up with Surety again? The new house will have a hardwired security system in place, so I will be added new ADC compatible panel and takeovers, in addition to other sensors.

I would recommend changing the master user code to its default value so that new users can access the system easily. Then you can schedule cancellation in our website. Login to suretyhome.com and click Subscriptions in the navigation list. Select Cancel Service while viewing your subscription.
When cancellation is processed this will delete the Alarm.com account, your sensors and panel programming are unaffected.

You cannot keep an Alarm.com account open without a panel IMEI connected to it, and there would not be a benefit to doing so if you are installing a new system with new peripherals and sensors.
You can of course log back into suretyhome.com with the same credentials you used to buy the original service though, nothing would happen to the suretyhome.com login as that is separate from Alarm.com.
The steps would be to cancel service, then when ready purchase the new panel bundle and activate your new account on our website.
Once I cancel the subscription and the Alarm.com connection is deleted, will the Users on the panel be deleted also? Or do I need to delete them from the panel?
Is the Master Code the same as Installer Code? What is the default value?
No cancellation wouldn’t affect codes in the panel, you can delete those as needed.
The master code and the installer code are two different codes. You can reset either or both, but as long as you provide the new user the master user code (or put it at default value) they would be able to activate.
The default master code on the IQ Panel is 1234. This is user code #1 in Alarm.com.
I just want to confirm… After I cancel my Surety subscription and the monitoring is discontinued, if the tenant presses the panic or sets off the alarm, it won’t notify the police/fire, right? I want to be sure that I can also cancel my alarm permit.
If you cancel service with us we would no longer be monitoring the system. Unless you sign up for service again with a provider, setting off an alarm would just be a noisemaker locally. There would be no response.
