I am trying to figure out how to mount an ADC-V520IR. I have the camera mounting kit it comes with and can’t find any instructions on which way to connect it all.

The camera mounting plate (the round base with screw holes in it) screws into the mounting point that comes out of the back of the camera at its center. The knob on the side of the mounting piece with the ball joint, or gimbal, can be used to set the cameras position.
Once you have decided where you want to mount the camera and the angle at which the camera is to be pointed, you can then affix the mounting plate to the wall with screws if you so choose.
