I set the system to Away, and it sets the house as for Stay. None of our 3 motion sensors are working at all as I walk through the house. Any ideas for solving this problem?
If ur trying to test the motions make sure the system is in test mode with the monitoring center and also when u set it too away make sure to open a delay door so the system thinks u left if u don’t it will arm stay automatically

You have Auto-Stay turned on. Auto-Stay is a safety feature to avoid false alarms by automatically reverting to Stay mode if you try to arm away and no exit doors open during the arming countdown.
You can disable Auto-Stay on systems, however since I don’t see a Surety subscription tied to this user I would need to know what panel model you have in order to provide instruction.
Since you also commented on a IQ Panel 2+ related thread, you can disable Auto-Stay on the IQ Panel 2+ under Settings > Advanced Settings > Installer Code > Installation > Security and Arming.
No, we don’t have Surety, but our panel is like you describe (Brinks 2G). It’s not on Auto-Stay because I always open a door after I set AWAY. It’s got something to do with the sensors not ‘seeing’ anyone with a transmission of the fact to the main panel. I even went through it all with a tech support person on the phone, but she had no clue about it.
I’m trying to find answers before having the $115 technician visit my house! Thanks for answering my question; I appreciate your assistance!
Best advice if ur not contract is to leave brinks and come to surety and save money
To be truthful I don’t trust brinks programming

There is only one setting on the panel that reverts arming to Stay if you arm Away.
That is the Auto-Stay setting. Nothing else will do that.
If your panel is actually reverting to Stay mode when you arm Away, that setting is indeed enabled and the issue.
If you open doors and the panel does not recognize that an entry point opened, they are either not signaling properly in general or they are not programmed as entry exit points.
I personally recommend check all the setting urself but before u do that make sure to call and put ur account is test mode and I’m pretty sure the code should be 1111 to get in programming I know my grandmothers I check her programming every one and awhile as she has brinks I’m hoping to change to surety soon for her house
