Here is the blink pattern for the 7 dip switches. There is an 8-blink pattern that repeats.
1 blinks once
2 is off
3 is off
4 blinks four times, then goes off
5 blinks 8 times
6 is off
7 is off
EXCEPTION: randomly, #2 blinks very rapidly once, but is not part of the pattern. The #2 blink is of a much shorter duration than the other LED dip switches. It may blink once or twice if you watch the pattern 10 times. The rapid blink occurs after #1 blinks but before 4 goes off, so it may be in the second position in the sequence.
I need to be certain we’re talking about the same light patterns.
When I refer to the trouble light, it is the red one on the top left. In this group of five lights, 2 and 3 are off. The red trouble light does not blink. It is on.
The LEDs with the blinking light pattern I described in the email I sent a short while ago are in the lower center of the image. In this group of seven lights, 2 and 3 are off.
First, we powered down the system, removed and inspected the small board on the SEM, then replaced the board and powered up the system. The panel did NOT perform a zone scan. The bF error message reappeared and the light pattern in the SEM was the same as it had been before.
We entered programming and changed *195 to 1,0. The keypad beeped to accept the change. We powered down the system. changed the dip switches to 1 off, 2 on, 3 off, 4 on. We powered up the system. The panel did NOT perform a zone scan. The bF error message reappeared and the light pattern in the SEM was unchanged.
