We are not receiving SMS since switching the same cell number to Mint mobile. Please help.
When using SMS notifications, the carrier must be configured as well as the number in your users page in Alarm.com. Login to the Alarm.com website, click users, and edit your user. Click on the mobile number to edit the number and the carrier.
Mint is not a selectable option. However, Mint uses the T-Mobile network I believe, so you would likely want to select T-Mobile to see if that works for you.
Thank you for the response. I did that and unfortunately it still does not work. I should have included that info in the first email.
If your carrier is not supported you can try to use the phone’s email address (SMS / SMTP format) as an email address contact instead to generate text messages.
That would be your number @ the email to text gateway address. As an example, T-mobile’s is tmomail.net I believe.
