One of the sensors in the house, a Honeywell 5898 Motion Sensor, continues to show a low battery warning in the alarm.com app and online even after I changed the batteries twice within a few weeks of one another.
Do I need to manually reset the app warning to clear the message, and if so, can you please let me know where I do that in the app or on the website? Thanks.
If the proper batteries were used then the status should clear on its own and return to normal fairly quickly.
The Honeywell 5898 sensor requires AA Lithium Batteries to properly function. Make sure all the batteries are New and that all of the batteries required are being replaced at the same time.
Also, be sure to check the date on the batteries to ensure they are fresh.
