Hello,

Can I get the definition of a loop, or better yet can you explain the difference between Loop 1 and Loop 2.

In essence, one device can have multiple sensors and each loop number represents that sensor. For example, when using a 2GIG-DW10-345 Door/Window contact, Loop 2 designates the reed switch sensor (the part that tracks opening and closing of a Door/Window) and Loop 1 designates the wired Aux input.
