I’m currently using Buy2GIG for monitoring my IQ Panel on Alarm.com, I have an issue with using their app to see my Linear Z Garage opener, works fine on my panel, I can see the door status and open and close the door from the panel but it doesn’t show up on my Alarm.com app, although I have signed up for this feature with this other Alarm com provider.
If I switch to your service will the Linear Z be accessible through the Alarm com app?
We cannot speak to what other companies service plans include. There are other considerations regarding compatibility with a Z-Wave Garage Controller such as panel type and panel firmware.
I just spoke to Alarm.com and while the Linear Z Wave Garage Opener is working on other major panels through Alarm.com, it is still being worked on for the IQ Panel. However, I was not given an exact date for full integration.
