I am trying to figure out if the Linear and GoControl versions of the GD00Z-4 are different. I know that they are both made by Nortek. The technical specs in the instruction sheets appear the same. Yet in the instructions the GoControl has Z-Wave Plus certification and the Linear only has Z-Wave.
My question is, when they re-branded the Linear version to GoControl were there any H/W / S/W changes to make it Z-Wave Plus compatible or was it merely that they hadn’t gone through re-certifying it at the time.
Those are the same product. The one indicating Z-wave Plus is a more recent iteration after Nortek came into the picture. The other is an earlier version of the same model which I believe is not Z-wave Plus certified.
